PC Dreams

Performance kunstenares Xenia Perek presenteert vijf radicale en onwaarschijnlijke karakters, die gedurende de voorstelling tot een climax komen.

PC Dreams is een reis door tijdperken, het Amsterdamse queer nachtleven en visuele kunstinstallaties, in een zoektocht naar emotionele welvaart en een kosmische bestemming. Een uur vol visueel, muzikaal, en conceptueel genot.

"De voorstelling is een visuele explosie, breekbaar, poëtisch en keihard. Het slingert tussen kostuumdrama, queer club esthetiek en science fiction extravaganza in en zit daarmee midden in de tijdsgeest. PC Dreams is actueel, verwarrend en urgent. Gaat dat zien." aldus programmeur Marjorie Boston.

Deze voorstelling is geschikt voor bezoekers voor 18 jaar en ouder. In de voorstelling wordt gebruik gemaakt van een stroboscooplamp.

PC Dreams is a journey through eras, Amsterdam’s queer nightlife and visual art installations, in a quest for emotional prosperity and a cosmic destination. An hour of visual, musical, and conceptual fun.

The characters created in PC Dreams negotiate a status quo of human values with the world, introducing hilarious, powerful, androgenic and ambitious perspectives. Think of an affair, a state of unrest, an Olympic sprint with a giggle of laughter. The insanely detailed costumes and a spatial installation as a backdrop bring this world to life.

This performance is suitable for visitors aged 18 and over. A strobe lamp is used in the performance.
