Riveting Mexican thriller dealing with lies and corruption.
In a small Mexican mining community, protests against the greedy international mining industry lead to mysterious disappearances. Emiliano is investigating the sudden disappearance of his mother. More and more lies are uncovered, while everyone concerned appears to have a hidden agenda. Emiliano's search lead him to the villa of the rich and eccentric Aldama family, where his main concern will be not to go down with all the secrets and lies.
Lost in the Night is the new film by director Amat Escalante, who previously left a big impression (La Region Salva, Narcos: Mexico). The film was selected for the film festivals of Cannes and Rotterdam.
