Inspired by ancient myths and true modern stories, director Matteo Garrone (Gomorra, Dogman) takes us along on an emotional journey. Two teenage boys leave their families behind in Senegal, dreaming of a better life in Europe. Their modern Odyssey takes them though a suffocating desert and across a rumbling sea. Starting off as humans, they quickly turn into cargo for traffickers. Their dreams, hopes and ambitions will have to make way for the struggle to simply survive.
