Raging Against Various Elements is a loud, dark, flashy and ecstatic performance, bursting with a lust for life.
About Raging Against Various Elements
With six professional ravers, Connor shows how grief, pain, love, pleasure, dance and death expose the fire of life and how it burns on the dance floor. According to Connor, with dance you can create an environment that helps process, practice, explore and release that which we have no control over. With this multidisciplinary performance, we challenge everyone to collectively push the envelope. Because even if we don't have control over anything else, we do have autonomy over ourselves.
Please note: Flashing lights and loud music are used. The texts are spoken in English.

About Connor Schumacher
Connor Schumacher has formed a clear vision of what he wants from his work: to move people. Under the banner of his own foundation ARK, established in 2020, Connor’s broad practice takes shape with various performances where the deep connection with the audience is leading.
In 2019, he won the Prize of the Dutch Dance Days and in 2022 he was one of five nominees for the Giekses Strijbis Podium Prijs. It is his deep conviction that our society would be better off if we danced every day.
