David Attenborough's First Life - Matt Baker Jones and Elliot Graves - United Kingdom - 11 minutes
Join David Attenborough on an epic journey 350 billion years into the past to experience the origin of life on Earth. Plot the story of how life evolved from single-celled organisms into the ferocious predators that stalked the seafloor. You will have the opportunity to come face to face with bizarre creatures such as the five-eyed Opabinia, the fearsome-looking Anomalocaris, and the spiny worm-like Hallucigenia – scientifically accurate animations bring them vividly to life.
Planet ∞ - Momoko Seto - Japan - 7 minutes
In Planet ∞ (infinity), which was screened at the Cannes film festival, Japanese filmmaker Momoko Seto presents a future in which nature has taken back control of the earth. Myriad 360 - Michael Grotenhoff and Christian Zipfel - Germany - 10 minutes
This film uses the latest 360° 3D technologies to bring the story of one of Europe’s most spectacular reintroduction programs to life: the human-led releasing into the wild of the near-extinct Northern Bald Ibis.
