About MEET: Destiny
Pop star Destiny radiates power and confidence—she seems completely at home in her own body. But behind the glitter hides doubt. How free are you when you constantly have to live up to the image of the perfect star? The smaller the hotpants, the bigger the fanbase—but who really decides how she dresses or behaves? In a world ruled by likes and expectations, Destiny increasingly feels like a prop for other people’s fantasies. Is it time to hit ‘reset’?
Destiny is a theatrical pop concert full of singing, dancing, and visuals, for everyone aged 12 and up. An immersive performance about shine, self-image, and making choices in a world that constantly puts you on stage. An ode to self-love—and a critical look at fame, girl power, and the relentless pursuit of perfection.

Over Danstheater AYA
Danstheater AYA maakt brutale en eerlijke voorstellingen voor jongeren, waarin geen enkel onderwerp wordt geschuwd. Met een mix van dans, theater, muziek en humor vertelt AYA verhalen die raken, confronteren en verbinden. De voorstellingen zijn energiek en herkenbaar, met invloeden uit verschillende jongerenculturen. AYA wil niet alleen vermaken, maar jongeren ook aan het denken zetten. Sinds maart 2024 is Ryan Djojokarso artistiek leider.
Over Ryan Djojokarso
Ryan Djojokarso is een veelzijdige choreograaf die dans combineert met theater, livemuziek en humor. Zijn werk is gevoelig en krachtig, en spreekt jongeren én volwassenen aan. Hij werkte eerder voor o.a. DOX, Korzo en Scapino Ballet, en richtte in 2020 zijn eigen gezelschap LIBI op. Zijn voorstellingen WINTER/21/J. en HERFST werden geselecteerd voor het Nederlands Theaterfestival. Bij AYA maakt hij indringende, fantasierijke voorstellingen over thema’s als liefde, verlies en identiteit.
