That armour in your closet looks very enticing and safe, but what if you refuse to toughen up with this world? How do you retain the softness in your body? How do you continue to open yourself up to connect with others? Can we offer tender resistance together? Choreographer and Leo Spreksel Award winner Faizah Grootens never shies away from emotions. In her latest duet Tender Resistance, she and her dancers explore the power of tenderness and how complicated it is to remain vulnerable in a world full of conflict, judgement and harshness.

Dance expresses itself in a way that cannot be put into words or understood. What exactly is being told with these movements, and what message is being conveyed?
Rutkay Özpinar believes that dance speaks for itself. The magic lies precisely in the wonder that cannot be expressed in words. Therefore in Something about Something the meaning or story is left to the interpretation of the audience.
