In Devī, the dancers take you on a journey through the contradictions of our lives. In a world driven by haste and achievement, how do we make space for feeling and reconnecting with the body?
About dance performance Devī
Three women illustrate this quest and bring to light the tension between thinking and feeling, order (Devī) and letting go, doing and reflecting (Deva). Their journey is both personal and collective: as they seek their own balance, they also shed light on what is happening in society. Devī invites us to look inward and calls for a renewed appreciation of the feminine as an important and equal part of the whole.
There is no spoken dialogue in this performance.
