BEYOND is a vibrant and energetic yet poetic circus and dance performance that tests, challenges, and ultimately transcends boundaries. Choreographed by Piet Van Dycke, BEYOND features six professional performers, each an expert in a different discipline - ladder walking, acrodance, acrobike, partner acrobatics and pole dancing. On stage, they become boundless bridge builders.
About BEYOND
Using ladders of varying sizes and heights, the performers build impressive structures, including arch-like sculptures and rotating cranes. They balance the ladders to create a thrilling, unstable playground. They explore unknown heights, climbing, floating and venturing into a daring choreography. Every centimetre and every second counts. They push themselves to the limit and discover how far they can challenge one another. Physical dependence has never been this exciting.
BEYOND explores the vulnerability, absurdity and power of boundaries, and how we can push beyond them by working together. Together, we dance on the collective ladders of the human imagination.

About Circumstances
Circumstances creates an innovative fusion of circus, dance, music and scenography. Energetic and poetic performances full of suspense that move and connect audiences. The driving force behind Circumstances is choreographer Piet Van Dycke. He creates and directs groundbreaking performances that strengthen the connection between people, as evidenced by the BNG Bank Award (2021), the Children’s Jury Prize at Krokusfestival (2023), and the selection for Het TheaterFestival (2023).
