Trieste, summer 2007. Confident Swedish teenager Fredrika has just moved to the Italian coastal city and finds herself at a technical high school in a class full of boys. She immediately becomes the center of attention—not only because of her intelligence and knowledge. Gradually, she forms a friendship with an inseparable trio: the fascinating and modest Antero, the outgoing Casanova Pasini, and the kind and protective Mitis. Together, they explore the streets of Trieste, party, reflect on the future, share secrets, and discover new feelings. Their final year of school will leave its mark on them forever.
