On the sidewalk outside a supermarket lives Gohan: a young white dog with a pink nose. When a retired Japanese man takes him in and gives him a home for the first time, a years-long journey through different lives begins. Gohan eventually ends up in a dubious shelter, where a young woman on the run protects him, and later teaches a student what true love really means. Three different owners, three stages of life, and one dog who changes everyone forever—without saying a word.
Told with the warmth, humor, and tears that audiences will recognize from How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies, the Thai international hit from the same filmmakers, this story is inspired by the true story of Hima, the dog who plays the older Gohan and who was rescued from the streets by the director.
