Norwegian sisters Kari and May buy an apartment in the tiny Swedish town of Gullspång. To their great surprise the woman who sells it to them is the spititng image of their sister Olaug, who committed suicide in 1988. She veen has the same nickname, Lita. The religious sisters do not doubt the miracle: this was divine intervention. Lonely Olaug is welcomed in Kari and May's warm, loving family. This is the beginning of a rollercoaster ride of coincidences and revelations. The deeper the sisters dig into hteir family's history, the stranger and scarier things become.
Short film Wander to Wonder
The screening will open with short film Wander to Wonder, by BAFTA winner Nina Ganz. This animated film concerns three former child stars who remain in the studio of their tv show, long after it has stopped taping. Plagued by hunger and sadness they keep on going and produce stranger and stranger episodes for their fans.
